The Tamuramaro Legacy
Some histories are recorded in books. Others are carried through generations. Mine is carried in the blood.
My ancestry brings together distinct lines extending across continents, cultures and centuries.
Through my maternal line, my connection to the Leslie and Stuart heritage comes through my maternal great-grandfather, Gustav Alexander Leslie — “Leslie King”, the father of my grandmother June Leslie. His story connects my family from Jamaica to Britain and into the historical Leslie lineage associated with Scotland and the House of Stuart.
My paternal line carries a different inheritance. My genetic heritage is connected to J-M172, with ancestral links reaching into Turkmenistan and the wider Central Asian world, while my paternal ancestry also reaches into the ancient R-L21 genetic landscape from which numerous historic British and European lineages emerged.
These are not contradictions. They are branches of the same ancestral tree.
One branch leads through my maternal family into the Leslie and Stuart heritage. Another carries the genetic history of my paternal ancestors across the ancient landscapes of Central Asia, Britain and Europe.
My DNA therefore represents more than a genetic classification.
It is a bridge between deep antiquity and the present.
Between forgotten ancestors and documented dynasties.
Between the men whose names entered history and the countless men whose names history never recorded.
The Tamuramaro Legacy
I do not inherit the Stewart crown.
I inherit something more personal:
the responsibility to understand my own lineage.
The crown belongs to history.
The bloodline belongs to the generations.
And the future belongs to those who choose what they will do with the inheritance left to them.
My name is Sakenoye II Salseena Tamuramaro.
I know the ancestral lines from which I come.
Through my maternal blood, I carry the Leslie and Stuart heritage through Gustav Alexander Leslie.
Through my paternal blood, I carry a heritage reaching through J-M172, Turkmenistan and Central Asia, alongside the ancient R-L21 world of Britain and Europe.
And somewhere in that immense ancestral tree, separated by centuries and countless generations, stand the ancestors of kings.
Not because I claim their throne — but because I honour the depth of the human lineage that connects us.
The past is the foundation.
The present is the inheritance.
The future is the legacy.
