TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARS, LECTURERS, VISITING PROFESSORS, FELLOWS & ACADEMIC CONTRIBUTORS

1. Introduction
The Institute of Black Nobility (IoBN) stands as a sovereign global cyberspace institution dedicated to elite scholarship, empirical integrity, and the restoration of historical truth.
These Terms & Conditions govern all academic appointments, engagements, teaching responsibilities, research contributions, and professional conduct for individuals serving as:
Scholars
Lecturers
Visiting Professors
Research Fellows
Honorary Fellows
Academic Contributors
Special Advisors
Distinguished Guests
Acceptance of any IoBN role signifies full agreement to these Terms.
2. Definitions
“The Institute” / “IoBN” means the Institute of Black Nobility in its sovereign academic capacity.
“Faculty Member” refers to any individual engaged in teaching, research, advisory work, content development, or intellectual contribution.
“Visiting Academic” includes visiting lecturers, professors, fellows, or guest speakers.
“Materials” include syllabi, lectures, publications, research findings, documents, proprietary frameworks, and media produced for IoBN.
3. Appointment & Duration
3.1. All appointments are granted at the discretion of the Office of the Supreme Chancellor.
3.2. Appointments may be fixed-term, project-based, honorary, or renewable by invitation.
3.3. IoBN reserves the right to modify or revoke appointments if academic integrity or conduct expectations are not met.
4. Duties & Responsibilities
Faculty members and visiting academics agree to:
4.1. Uphold the intellectual and noble values of IoBN.
4.2. Deliver accurate, well-researched, and original academic content.
4.3. Maintain professionalism in communication, teaching, and research outputs.
4.4. Respect confidentiality provisions and internal academic systems.
4.5. Provide timely delivery of agreed lectures, content, or advisory reports.
4.6. Comply with IoBN’s internal governance constitution and scholarly ethics.
5. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights
5.1. All materials created for or submitted to IoBN become the intellectual property of the Institute unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2. Faculty members may not repurpose or resell IoBN materials without formal permission.
5.3. IoBN may archive, publish, or distribute academic contributions within its global educational system.
5.4. Any external projects inspired by IoBN work must cite the Institute appropriately.
6. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure
6.1. Faculty must not disclose internal procedures, unpublished research, genealogical findings, proprietary frameworks, or student data.
6.2. Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely, even after termination of appointment.
6.3. Breach of confidentiality may result in legal action and academic sanctions.
7. Academic Integrity & Behavioural Standards
IoBN maintains a noble code of conduct:
Faculty members agree to conduct themselves with:
Honour
Dignity
Truthfulness
Professional respect
Ethical rigour
Cultural sensitivity
Respect for historical accuracy
Behaviours not tolerated include:
Plagiarism
Academic fraud
Misrepresentation of credentials
Misuse of IoBN insignia or titles
Harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional conduct
Violation may result in dismissal and removal from IoBN’s Academic Registry.
8. Use of IoBN Titles, Credentials & Insignia
8.1. Faculty may use their official IoBN title only during the period of appointment.
8.2. Titles must be represented exactly as issued.
8.3. IoBN insignia, seals, and heraldic designs may not be used on personal publications without written permission.
8.4. Honorary titles do not guarantee permanent academic standing.
9. Compensation & Honoraria
9.1. Payments (when applicable) will be specified in individual appointment letters or project agreements.
9.2. Compensation may include financial payment, honoraria, fellowships, publication royalties, or ceremonial recognition.
9.3. Bullion-based payments (from scholars to IoBN or vice versa) follow IoBN’s precious-metal protocols, including verification via the Royal Mint.
10. Research Conduct & Publication Protocols
10.1. Research conducted under IoBN must reflect methodological rigour and historical accuracy.
10.2. Publications using IoBN resources or identity require approval before release.
10.3. IoBN may publish or archive faculty research on its platforms with proper attribution.
11. Conflict of Interest
Faculty members must:
Disclose conflicts involving external organisations
Avoid using IoBN research for personal commercial gain
Maintain impartiality in academic evaluation
IoBN reserves the right to review and manage any conflict appropriately.
12. Data Protection & Record Keeping
12.1. Faculty must protect all IoBN student records, research databases, and internal documents.
12.2. Student or institutional data must not be shared without consent.
12.3. All digital work must be stored in secure, encrypted environments when off-site.
13. Termination of Appointment
Appointment may be terminated if:
Duties are not fulfilled
Academic integrity is compromised
Conduct breaches IoBN’s values
Faculty violate confidentiality
Legal or reputational risks arise
Termination may occur with or without notice, depending on severity.
14. Sovereign Academic Jurisdiction
14.1. IoBN operates under a sovereign academic framework independent of national educational bodies.
14.2. All disputes, contracts, and engagements are governed by IoBN’s internal statutes.
14.3. Faculty acknowledge that IoBN’s academic jurisdiction supersedes educational conventions where legally permissible.
15. Liability
15.1. IoBN is not liable for faculty loss of data, travel delays, technical interruptions, or third-party failures.
15.2. Faculty remain responsible for ensuring accuracy of content they produce.
15.3. IoBN does not guarantee academic or commercial outcomes from faculty involvement.
16. Amendments
IoBN may revise these Terms at any time.
Continued affiliation signifies acceptance of updated policies.
